Alexander M. SOIGUINE received his Master Degree in mathematical physics from one of
the most prestigious scientific schools of the former USSR : Mathematical Physics Department of
St. Petersburg (Leningrad) University. His scientific adviser was world famous mathematician
After two years he also received Ph.D. in applied mathematics (computational methods).
For several years he worked as professor of mathematics and mechanics at the highest
level military institution – Naval Academy of Russia graduating top officers for Russian Navy.
During those years he actively participated in multiple scientific research projects, starting from
stochastically best strategies of submarine detection, to nuclear propulsion computer simulation programs,
to relativistic particle beam computer simulation software.
In 1996 Dr. Soiguine came to the USA with "green card"
through the INS section "Alien of Extraordinary Ability"
(see the approval
) and has worked for several companies as simulation software developer.
The projects he worked on included geometrical/topological modeling, math simulation engines for EDA, heat transfer, electromagnetic radiation numerical algorithms, ray-tracing, light scattering,
GIS spectral material classification, instrumental raw data processing, visualization algorithms, image processing, and much more.
In 2013 launched the GAQCI for practical implementation of novel
approaches to topological quantum computing.
Dr. Soiguine is member of American Mathematical Society.
